Training for a half-marathon race is a true test of both the mind and the body, taking the average athlete four to five months to complete. In addition, the hopeful participant must eat right, maintain healthy habits and avoid injury. Bill Redfern, owner of A Buyer’s Choice, recently decided that he was up for the challenge. Although the training schedule proved difficult, the 46-year-old entrepreneur persevered. In the end it was all worth it: William Redfern posted an admirable time of one hour and 55 minutes (1:55) at the Singer Island Half Marathon race. It stands as one of his greatest personal accomplishment to date.
